Hello...
I believe leadership shows up in the everyday.
It’s in how we listen, how we act, and how we create space for others to do the same. I help individuals and organizations lead with confidence and compassion, whether they’re just getting started or leading large-scale change. Leadership is not about status. It’s about impact.
How I Got Here...
I didn’t always know I’d end up in executive leadership. My journey began in massage therapy, where I quickly learned that the most powerful changes often come from the smallest actions. That mindset - curious, intentional, and impact-focused - has guided me ever since.
Over time, I’ve built a career that weaves together education, research, advocacy, and leadership. I’ve taught students, mentored emerging professionals, chaired national boards, led institutional change, and spoken to audiences across Canada and internationally. Through it all, I’ve remained grounded in a belief that leadership isn’t defined by labels. It’s defined by how we show up for others, and for ourselves.
As the Senior Vice President Academic at a community college in Ontario, I now lead strategy, transformation, and innovation in post-secondary education. My work spans across all levels of leadership, from those just stepping into their potential, to established executives navigating change. Alongside this, I’m deeply committed to supporting the well-being of leaders, and helping people lead with both courage and compassion.
I love growing things—plants, ideas, and possibilities. My happiest moments often include a good book, a thriving cucumber vine, or a conversation that sparks a new perspective. Leadership, like growth, begins quietly and flourishes when nurtured with intention.
Leadership is a process of social influence, which maximizes the efforts of others, towards the achievement of a goal [in the group's best interest].
