From Moment to Momentum

Moments of uncertainty can feel overwhelming, particularly when many of the forces shaping our work sit beyond our direct control. Yet moments are temporary. Momentum is what carries us forward.

 

This interactive presentation explores how educators can move from reacting to change toward creating purposeful action within their programs and profession. Drawing on concepts of influence, professional identity, and professional expectations, participants are invited to consider where they have the greatest opportunity to create meaningful impact, even in complex and rapidly changing environments.

 

Through reflection, discussion, and practical activities, participants examine the distinction between organizational change and personal transition, identify areas where their efforts can have disproportionate influence, and explore how everyday decisions shape students, programs, and the future of the profession.
